According to PWInsider, Punk’s presence at the Allstate Arena, which is located in his hometown, has been verified by sources.

Although it is unclear whom Punk was meeting, some sources suggest that he briefly encountered Triple H. This meeting would have marked the first time the two have seen each other in person since Punk departed from WWE in 2014. While Punk reportedly interacted with a few WWE talents, he was eventually asked to leave. One source believed that Punk’s contract with AEW might have been the reason for his dismissal and alleged that it was a decision made by Vince McMahon himself. Upon being asked to leave, Punk is said to have said his goodbyes and left the premises immediately.
