The site also suggests that WWE head of security, Jim Kelly, may have asked Punk to leave, although this has not been verified. According to sources, Punk departed without incident.

It seems that some individuals within the WWE roster initially suspected that Punk’s visit was merely a publicity stunt for an AEW return. Similarly, several people within AEW were reportedly in disbelief when they heard about the visit.
