Former WWE Superstar Johnny Morrison Makes Impactful Appearance on AEW Rampage

AEW treated fans in Chicago to an action-packed episode of Dynamite as they approached the highly anticipated Forbidden Door event. However, it was not just the scheduled matches that had fans buzzing with excitement. A major surprise awaited the enthusiastic crowd.

Before bidding farewell to the Windy City, fans were treated to a special edition of AEW Rampage. (For those seeking complete spoilers, click here.) But be warned, a significant spoiler awaits in the next paragraph.

In a thrilling trios match, The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn emerged victorious on AEW Rampage this week. However, the real shock came when Johnny Elite, formerly known as John Morrison in WWE, made a dramatic return to AEW, aligning himself with the QTV crew and launching a vicious attack on his adversaries.

This isn’t Johnny Elite’s first appearance in AEW. Several months ago, he made a memorable debut as fans initially mistook him for Johnny Gargano, resulting in an explosive reaction. Witnessing the return of the Wednesday Night Delight was undoubtedly a fantastic surprise for AEW faithful.

The question now lingers: Will Johnny Elite become a regular fixture in AEW this time around? As fate would have it, he is married to Taya Valkyrie, who herself is enjoying a new run with the company. Only time will reveal what lies ahead for this dynamic duo within the realm of AEW.
