Record-low viewership for NXT on USA Network during the holiday
WWE NXT, which aired a pre-taped episode on the Fourth of July holiday, saw a significant drop in viewership, hitting a record low. The episode aired on the USA Network, averaged 508,000 viewers, a decrease of 18.3 percent from the previous week. This marks the lowest audience total in NXT’s history for an episode aired on the USA Network. The only episode to draw a lower viewership was in February 2022 when NXT was moved to Syfy due to Olympic coverage in the USA.
In the 18-49 demographic, NXT drew a 0.13 rating, down 23.5 percent from the previous week. This ties the lowest rating in the demo NXT has achieved since March 21. However, compared to the same week in 2022, NXT’s viewership was down 14.3 percent, but its 18-49 rating was up 8.3 percent, indicating a younger-skewing audience this year, a trend is seen across all WWE programming.
