With Dakota Kai sidelined, Damage CTRL may be looking to bolster their ranks with the addition of Piper Niven

The WWE main roster once reverberated with the exploits of the trio known as Damage CTRL. However, their current status is somewhat subdued. IYO Sky, the reigning Miss Money in the Bank, still has Bayley by her side, but Dakota Kai is temporarily out of the picture due to an injury. In the midst of this, a potential new member could be waiting in the wings.

During a recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Bayley was seen at ringside during IYO Sky’s match against Charlotte Flair. However, an unexpected encounter with Shotzi led to Bayley abandoning Sky mid-match. This tension was a result of a previous incident where Bayley and Sky had cut off Shotzi’s hair on SmackDown, leading to Shotzi’s dramatic return with a complete makeover.

In a conversation with Fightful, Dakota Kai expressed her desire to see Piper Niven join their faction. Kai stated, “She’s [Piper Niven] amazing. She would be such a great addition to have. She’s so strong. Look at her. She’s our lethal weapon. She will be.”

Damage CTRL made their debut at the SummerSlam 2022 premium live event, where Bayley, Iyo Sky, and Dakota Kai made their first joint appearance on WWE television. Both Sky and Kai have had impressive runs, having previously held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

The future of Damage CTRL remains to be seen. The addition of Piper Niven could certainly add a new dynamic to the group. As always in WWE, fans will have to stay tuned for further developments.
