GTA 6 Release Window Seemingly Narrowed Down to Fiscal Year 2024

Take-Two’s Latest Earnings Call Hints at Grand Theft Auto 6’s Potential Release Date, Fueling Speculation and Excitement

The release window for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) has been narrowed down to fiscal year 2024, according to Take-Two, the mega publisher behind Rockstar. During the company’s latest earnings call, Take-Two forecasted \$8 billion in net bookings between April 2024 and March 2025, a significant increase compared to the \$5.5 billion in the current fiscal year.

This projection has led to speculation that GTA 6 is expected to drop during that period, as Rockstar’s next blockbuster is the only thing that could generate such revenue. This isn’t the first time Take-Two has hinted at a major release in fiscal year 2024, adding fuel to the fire of anticipation.

The timeline also aligns with a massive GTA 6 leak that occurred last year, in which work-in-progress footage found its way online. Take-Two stated that the leak would have no impact on the game’s ongoing development, further supporting the assumption that GTA 6 is targeting an April 2024 to March 2025 release window.
