Finn Bálor and Damian Priest Crowned as the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions

In a riveting interview on WWE’s The Bump, Jackie Redmond sat down with the new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, Finn Bálor and Damian Priest of The Judgment Day. Fresh off their historic win at WWE Payback, the duo reflected on their journey and what this victory truly means.

“It feels just like every other day, perfect,” remarked Finn, with Damian adding, “Judgment Day doing their thing, this is life.” The duo has long claimed that Judgment Day runs WWE, and with the gold now in their possession, their dominance seems undeniable. “There’s no question anymore as to who really runs the WWE,” Finn confidently stated.

However, the road to this championship was with its bumps. Addressing the perceived tension between them in the weeks leading up to Payback, Damian likened their dynamic to that of siblings. “Families fight, and that’s what it is,” he said. While they might have had disagreements, their shared goal and bond as part of The Judgment Day always took precedence. “Those arguments were temporary. We just needed communication, and now we’re Champions,” Damian added.

When asked about Rhea’s statement that changes would be made if they didn’t emerge from Payback with gold, Damian saw it as a motivational tactic. “She wanted us to be on the same page and get this done,” he explained.

With their victory, Finn Bálor and Damian Priest have solidified their place at the top of the WWE and sent a clear message to doubters: The Judgment Day is here to stay.
