In a conversation with Chris Novak of Awful Announcing, Cole emphasized the positive changes, particularly highlighting the transition of Corey Graves to a play-by-play announcer role on WWE SmackDown.

According to Cole, the new regime allows commentators to be more authentic, develop their character, and call the action in their style. He believes this shift has provided Graves the perfect transition opportunity.
