Cora Jade Enters Concussion Protocol After WWE NXT Injury

Jade’s match against Jordynne Grace was stopped after a concerning head injury

Summary

– Cora Jade suffered a concussion during her NXT match against Jordynne Grace

– The referee stopped the match after Jade showed signs of struggling in the ring

– Her return timeline is uncertain as WWE monitors her recovery

Cora Jade’s March 4 match on WWE NXT ended unexpectedly when she suffered an injury against Jordynne Grace, leading officials to call off the bout. Now, it appears Jade has entered concussion protocol.

According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, Jade’s head snapped back awkwardly after hitting the turnbuckle. He reviewed the footage and noted that she struggled with her movements afterward, missing a stomp and failing to rebound off the bottom rope. The referee quickly recognized something was wrong and stopped the match.

Fightful Select later confirmed that Jade suffered a head injury, not a knee issue as some initially speculated. Even Jade addressed the situation on social media, stating she was “rocked for a second” but assuring fans that her knees were fine.

With concussion protocol in effect, WWE medical staff will monitor her recovery closely. It remains unclear when she will be cleared to return, but given the seriousness of her head injuries, her health will be the top priority.
