The April 30, 2025, episode of AEW Dynamite delivered a big night for Tony Khan’s brand, showcasing critical storyline developments and tournament fallout just weeks away from AEW Double or Nothing.
According to Dave Meltzer, Dynamite drew 629,000 viewers on TBS—an increase of over 20% from the previous week’s 521,000. The 18–49 demographic also rose from a 0.14 to 0.16 rating, holding steady at #5 on the night among cable programs. These numbers do not include streaming via Max, which has yet to be publicly reported.
The episode featured a variety of major angles, including Hangman Page defeating Kyle Fletcher to punch his ticket to the Owen Hart Cup final officially. He will now face Will Ospreay at Double or Nothing in what’s already being billed as a show-stealer.
Elsewhere, MJF and Bobby Lashley clashed in a heated in-ring confrontation. Lashley laid down the gauntlet, telling MJF he had to prove he could “hurt people” if he wanted to join the Hurt Syndicate.
The women’s division also delivered a surprise triple confrontation. Mercedes Moné interrupted Toni Storm, only to be confronted by Jamie Hayter—setting the stage for Moné vs Hayter at Double or Nothing.
AEW heads into May with renewed momentum and a clearer path toward a stacked pay-per-view card.
