– Trick attacked Hendry post-match, escalating their ongoing conflict
Trick Williams made his presence felt on the May 1 episode of TNA iMPACT!, interfering in the main event and costing the Hardies and TNA World Champion Joe Hendry a major win.
The six-man tag team match featured Hendry teaming with Matt and Jeff Hardy to take on Frankie Kazerian and the new TNA World Tag Team Champions, Ryan and Nick Nemeth. The match was filled with back-and-forth action, with the crowd on their feet in Southern California.
Late in the match, as Jeff Hardy climbed the ropes for a potential Swanton Bomb, Trick Williams appeared from the crowd and pulled him down. Moments later, Trick delivered a direct shot to Hendry, setting up the Nemeths to hit their double-team finisher, the Danger Zone, and pin the Hardies for the second time in a week.
After the bell, Trick stood over Hendry, making it clear that his target was the TNA World Champion. The unexpected attack adds another layer of intensity to an already stacked TNA roster as Hendry defends his title with a literal bullseye on his back.
TNA officials have yet to comment on Trick’s appearance, but the fallout is just beginning with Under Siege looming.
