The Phenomenal One blames AT&T vulnerability for account breach
Summary
– AJ Styles revealed his Twitter was hacked due to a stolen SIM card
– Offensive tweets were posted without his knowledge or consent
– Styles says someone at AT\&T enabled the breach, and he’s working to fix it
AJ Styles is the latest WWE Superstar to fall victim to a social media breach. The former WWE Champion took to Instagram with a video explaining that his Twitter account was hacked after someone stole his SIM card—allegedly with help from a third party at AT&T.
Styles said he first noticed the activity when he saw disturbing tweets from his account. Unable to access it from his phone, he logged in from his wife’s and discovered what had happened. He made it clear that the situation resulted from unauthorized access, not anything he had done.
“Some moron stole my SIM and was able to hack my Twitter account,” Styles said, adding that a tech expert is already working to resolve the issue.
The now-deleted posts contained racial slurs and hate speech, sparking outrage before Styles could clarify the situation. His statement follows similar cases involving Asuka and Nick Aldis, who had their Twitter accounts recently compromised as well.
