Take-Two Interactive has confirmed development on WWE 2K26, the next installment in the long-running wrestling video game franchise. The announcement came during the company’s latest financial call, with a release window set for fiscal year 2026, which spans from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
This news follows the recent launch of WWE 2K25, which debuted on March 14, 2025, for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Fans were also treated to early-access Deadman and Bloodline editions a week prior. With 2K25 still fresh, Take-Two is wasting no time advancing the franchise.
Alongside the mainline title, Take-Two revealed WWE 2K Mobile, a new mobile experience launching in Fall 2025 through a partnership with Netflix. This marks a major move for the series into the streaming space, expanding access for fans on the go.
The fiscal year is shaping up to be a blockbuster for Take-Two, including Borderlands 4 (September 12, 2025) and Mafia: The Old Country (August 8, 2025). The company expects record-breaking Net Bookings driven by this ambitious release slate.
