Infinity Nikki’s v1.6 update delayed to June 12 after community backlash
Summary
– Developer Infold apologizes again as v1.6 update is delayed due to v1.5 issues
– Players upset over bugs, story changes, and gacha system tweaks in latest update
– Compensation offered, but many fans remain dissatisfied
Infinity Nikki’s developer, Infold, has issued another public apology as the release of the game’s v1.6 update is pushed back to June 12. The delay comes in the wake of player frustration over the troubled v1.5 update, which was criticized for technical problems, unpopular changes to the story, and tweaks to the gacha system that many called “greedy.”
In a statement, Infold admitted recent issues have “damaged the trust and affection” of the community and promised continued efforts to resolve technical and performance problems across all platforms, including PlayStation. To make up for the rough update, the studio is giving away 960 Diamonds, 360 Starlit Crystals, 8 Energy Crystals, along with the 30 free pulls previously distributed. However, many players say the compensation is insufficient and feel their feedback hasn’t been properly addressed.
With the next major update delayed, Infold says some fixes may take even longer, warning that regaining players’ trust will be an ongoing challenge as the game moves forward.
