Cardona’s Appearance with Green’s Title Replica Sparks Buzz in the Wrestling World

Last week on WWE Raw, Cardona’s wife, Chelsea Green, along with her partner Sonya Deville, won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships from Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Cardona, in his typical style, referred to himself as “half of half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.” True to his reputation for committing to a bit, Cardona appeared at DDT Wrestle Peter Pan with Green’s title around his waist.
However, Green later clarified on Twitter that Cardona’s belt was a replica, and the real championship was safe with its rightful owner. Meanwhile, Cardona has a new challenge on his hands. After his victory at DDT Pro, his GCW rival Maki Itoh challenged him, taking their feud international. The match is set to take place on September 24, 2023, at the legendary Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
