Lynch Teases Potential NXT Women’s Championship Ambitions
The wrestling world was set abuzz when NXT Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton made a bold claim during the NXT Heatwave special episode. Stratton, discussing her vision for her reign, stated her ambition to surpass the likes of wrestling icons such as Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Asuka, and Bayley. This statement was particularly audacious given that Becky Lynch has never held the NXT Women’s Championship.
However, “The Man” Becky Lynch was quick to respond. Taking to social media, Lynch pointed out the oversight and hinted at a potential future in NXT, stating, “I haven’t been NXT Women’s Champion…yet.” This tease has left fans speculating about a possible showdown between the two dominant figures in the wrestling world.
Stratton, not one to back down, further fueled the fire in a subsequent backstage interview. She dismissed Lynch’s achievements, stating that the former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion was “irrelevant” to her.
With the wrestling community eagerly discussing this brewing rivalry, all eyes are now on the upcoming episodes of WWE NXT. Especially since the next contender for Stratton’s title will be decided in a four-way match featuring Blair Davenport, Roxanne Perez, Kiana James, and Gigi Dolin.
