WWE’s Erik Faces Uncertain Times Ahead
In a revelation that has left many WWE fans concerned, Erik, one-half of the formidable Viking Raiders, faces an unforeseen hiatus from in-ring action. During Monday’s WWE Raw, commentator Wade Barrett disclosed that Erik would be sidelined for an undetermined period.
The last time fans witnessed Erik in action was during the September 14 episode of Main Event, which was taped on September 11. The Viking Raiders, comprising Erik and Ivar, were slated to square off against The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods on WWE Raw’s September 18 episode. However, due to Erik not being medically cleared, Ivar stepped up to challenge Kingston in a singles bout.
While Erik’s absence is palpable, Ivar continues to represent The Viking Raiders on WWE Raw. He recently battled Woods and is now gearing up for a “Viking Rules” match against Kingston, scheduled for the October 9 episode of WWE Raw.
