Meiko Satomura’s last NXT appearance was on September 6, 2022. Next week, she will be back on the white and gold brand on television.
WWE has announced that the renowned Japanese wrestler, Meiko Satomura, will team up with the current NXT Women’s Champion, Roxanne Perez, to take on the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance, in a tag team match, next week on NXT.
The bout was arranged after Carter and Chance disrupted Perez’s interview during the program’s opening segment. The ex-NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions also referenced Perez’s brief alliance with Cora Jade.
Carter and Chance claimed that Perez had no allies in NXT, to which she replied that she would make a phone call. The NXT Women’s Champion later confirmed during the show that she would join forces with the returning Meiko Satomura on the next episode of NXT.
