AEW boasts a talented roster, but unfortunately, not all can compete. One wrestler who has been sidelined for a few months is Kyle O’Reilly, but there is some good news regarding his recovery.
According to a recent interview on the In the Kliq podcast, AEW President Tony Khan provided an update on O’Reilly’s condition. The wrestler has been out of action due to a neck injury requiring surgery, but it appears that he is progressing in his recovery.
“He’s been doing better. We look forward to him getting back. But it’s a number of injuries and a tough recovery. I really miss him, and hope he’ll be back with AEW very soon.”
Since Kyle O’Reilly has been out of action in AEW, numerous changes have taken place, and by the time he returns, there could be even more. Before he departed from WWE to AEW, O’Reilly engaged in memorable matches with Adam Cole in NXT. It remains to be seen if O’Reilly will renew his feud with Cole upon his return, but the journey ahead may be challenging. Nonetheless, there is optimism as reports indicate that O’Reilly is progressing in his recovery.
