The WWE Universe is excited as WrestleMania approaches, but one notable absence is the King of Bros, Matt Riddle. Wrestling fans everywhere eagerly await his return to the ring, but unfortunately, they will have to wait a bit longer as his name needs to be brought up in creative meetings.
Riddle was forced to take time off after suffering a brutal attack from Solo Sikoa that left him with serious injuries. However, it has since come to light that Riddle failed a WWE Wellness Policy test in December and has been attending rehab ever before.
Despite attending an adult film industry awards show in January, Riddle has remained out of the public eye. According to a tenured member of the WWE creative team, his name will only be considered for a storyline once talent relations informs them that he is again fit to perform.
It’s been a longer absence than many expected for Riddle, and he has no plans to be a part of WrestleMania. However, as his recovery progresses, there’s hope that we’ll see the Original Bro back in the ring very soon and that WWE creative will have the opportunity to work their magic with him again.
