Matt Hardy Expresses Desire for Jeff’s Return to AEW Following Successful Surgery Recovery

0

Jeff Hardy’s absence from AEW since June has been a topic of concern among fans, but his brother Matt has spoken out about his hopes for a return in the near future. Jeff had been out of action due to his DUI case and subsequent eye surgery. In a video shared by Isiah Kennedy, Matt discussed his brother’s health condition and revealed that Jeff had undergone a surgical procedure to address issues with the ligaments and tendons in one of his eyes. Matt also revealed that Jeff’s eyes were slightly off-set, which could be attributed to wear and tear and the physical toll of his profession.

According to Matt, Jeff’s surgery was successful, and he should be able to return to the ring in around five or six weeks. “So I’m hoping after that, now that he’s kind of putting this whole situation behind him, that we’ll see him back around soon. I’m hoping so, man,” Matt said. He urged fans to keep their fingers crossed and expressed his excitement at the prospect of seeing his brother back in action. “Maybe six, eight weeks from now, hopefully, we can see some Jeff Hardy on AEW,” he added.

Jeff has had a challenging year, having been suspended without pay after his DUI arrest last summer. AEW President Tony Khan has made it clear that Jeff can only return to the company once he has successfully completed treatment and maintained his sobriety. But with his surgery now behind him, Jeff is one step closer to making his return to the ring, and his fans are eagerly awaiting his comeback.
