Nia Jax, whose real name is Lina Fanene, was among the several stars released by WWE in 2021 due to budget cuts. Despite making a surprise one-off appearance at the 30-woman Royal Rumble match in January, Jax didn’t return to WWE on a full-time basis and has yet to compete in a match since her November 2021 departure.
The rumor mill started churning when Jax was recently spotted training at D-Von Dudley’s wrestling academy. This development has sparked conjecture among fans that Jax might be prepping for a wrestling comeback, although there’s been no official word yet.
WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley stoked the flames of speculation when he posted a video on Twitter showing Nia Jax working with one of his students in the ring. “You never know who you will see at D-von Dudley Academy (DDA) as former WWE superstar Nia working with some of the students here at DDA. #DDA #wwe,” Dudley tweeted, adding fuel to the fire about Jax’s potential return to the ring.
Adding to the intrigue, Jax shared a video on Instagram last month of her training session with wrestler Kaci Lennox. In the post, Jax lauded Lennox’s talent and expressed her enjoyment of their session. Despite the sweltering heat in the warehouse, Jax emphasized that it didn’t deter their training.
As the wrestling world buzzes with speculation, all eyes are on Nia Jax. Will she step back into the ring for a full-fledged return? Only time will tell.
